Error during import/export of Excel Connection
When running your Excel Connection, you might get this message:
Here are various instances when this might occur and ways to resolve it:
- In Simul8 Desktop, when the “Look for Excel spreadsheet in simulation directory” checkbox is enabled. To resolve this either locate the Excel spreadsheet in the same directory your simulation file is located; or disable “Look for for Excel spreadsheet in simulation directory”. You can find this checkbox under the Properties tab of your Excel Connections.
- In Simul8 Online, when the Sheet name you are typing in the File Settings of the Excel Connection does not match that of your Excel spreadsheet. To resolve this, type the Sheet name exactly as it is written on the Excel spreadsheet.
- In Simul8 Online, when the Excel Data Range you define is not populated. To resolve this, make sure that the Excel Data Range you specify is populated.
