qtintf70.dll Compatibility Issues

When launching Simul8, you might come across the following message:

Simul8 qtintf70dll

This is an essential component that ensures Simul8 operates properly in relation to Windows, and in case the above message appears, this file hasn't been placed in the correct location when installing.

To resolve this, check either of the following locations on your machine for the qtintf.70.dll file:

  • C:\Windows\System32\qtintf70.dll or;
  • C:\Windows\SysWOW64\qtintf70.dll

You should be able to find the file in one of those locations. When you locate the file, copy it, and then paste it in your Simul8 installation directory (e.g. C:\Program Files\SIMUL8 or wherever you have installed Simul8 to).

Once you have done that, please restart your computer and then try to open Simul8.

If you are not able to find the file, re-install Simul8. If the file is again not present in each of these locations, please contact support@simul8.com
