SIMUL8 is structured to make building simulations easy. An onscreen tutorial helps students get started, then as the student progresses all the features they require can be found in well structured dialogs. In addition SIMUL8 uses Expert System technology to provide students with hints, tips and advice through the 'Simulation Assistant'.
No programming needs to be taught. SIMUL8 contains its own simulation language that can be used to extend SIMUL8, however, no course we are aware of has ever needed to teach this language. Most styles of teaching simulation can be done using just SIMUL8’s Objects and Dialogs.
