Training and Development

SIMUL8 Corporation is committed to the personal development of all employees and acknowledges the contribution employees make to the success of the company. SIMUL8 Corporation believes that it is important to invest in employee training and development in order to meet the challenges and business demands of the future.

With this in mind, all SIMUL8 Corporation employees are encouraged to contribute to identifying and meeting their own job-related development needs, the focus being on continually developing and improving new or existing skills.

Staff development starts on induction with a tailored programme to get new recruits up to speed with our software and our various internal processes and procedures, but which also includes social activities to allow effective integration to the Company and their specific team.

Development is then continued through the appraisal process, which is carried out bi-annually by line managers. This process aims to identify the training and development needs of staff, the results of this are fed into individual training plans created to reach personal and business objectives.

Structured team training programmes are also in place, which allows effective team building to develop through team based learning, both internally and through external training providers.

There may also be in certain cases support for further education, for example post-graduate degrees if employees feel this would enhance their performance and future career.
